Dr. Lamparski works closely with you to ensure you receive the very best orthodontic care. Your first visit helps you get acquainted with our office and evaluates your orthodontic needs.
What to Expect
During your first visit we perform an oral examination and provide our opinion as to whether orthodontic treatment is indicated. If so, diagnostic records (scans, X-rays, and photographs) may be taken at that time, or another appointment may be scheduled if more convenient. Records are necessary to formulate a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan, but we can provide an approximate treatment plan and fee at this first appointment.
If treatment is not indicated at this time, we will monitor growth and eruption of your child’s teeth at 6-12 month intervals. These visits are important so treatment can start at the most beneficial time, depending on their orthodontic issue. At Lamparski Orthodontics, there is never a charge for these visits.
Approximately two weeks after your records appointment, we will sit down with you and discuss your diagnosis and comprehensive treatment plan. We will clearly explain details of our diagnosis, treatment, and financial arrangements – thus both parents should attend, if possible. Children will receive detailed information step-by-step as treatment progresses, so they do not need to attend this appointment.
